MIRAR: Contemplating God’s Glory through Photography - The Ignatian Way

Founded in 1907 atop Mirador Hill, Mirador Jesuit Villa Retreat House in Baguio City is a photographers’ haven with its 360-degree  panoramic view.

MIRAR: Contemplating God’s Glory through Photography – The Ignatian Way is a special yearlong offering for the Ignatian Year. Its first photography exhibit features the masterpieces of some of the best photographers, cinematographers, and photo artists of Baguio City who use photography as a “pathway to contemplating God’s Glory in creation”.

This contemplation through photography goes beyond capturing scenery or objects; it follows the Ignatian way of praying that employs all the senses, the use of time and light, and the human capacity to observe things from the micro to macro levels of reality.

MIRAR: Contemplating God’s Glory through Photography – The Ignatian Way photo exhibit is located at the Central Corridor of the Retreat House. Everyone is welcome to visit.
